Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Damdit handles personal data collected on damdit.com and through its launch-updates newsletter. It does not describe future data processing in the Damdit app.
Who is responsible
Damdit is operated by Antonín Bureš, IČO 02035138. He is the controller of personal data collected through this website and the launch-updates newsletter.
For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@damdit.com.
What we collect
- Newsletter: your email address, subscription status, and records of confirmation or unsubscribe actions.
- Website delivery: limited technical request data, such as IP address and browser or device information, processed to deliver and protect the website.
We do not use advertising pixels, behavioural analytics, heatmaps, or a website account system.
Why we use it
- To send Damdit launch updates, we rely on your consent. You confirm your subscription through Ecomail's double opt-in email.
- To deliver and protect the website, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable public website.
Service providers
We use Vercel to host this website and Ecomail to operate the newsletter and double opt-in process. They process personal data only to provide their services to us. Ecomail acts as our processor for newsletter recipients.
Providers may use subprocessors. If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards apply under the provider's data-processing terms. You can ask us for more information at the address above.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter data is kept while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we retain the minimum record needed to respect that choice and avoid sending further updates.
- Unconfirmed newsletter sign-ups are not used for campaigns and are removed within 30 days.
- Technical website data is retained only for the period needed to deliver and secure the website, under the relevant hosting configuration.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from launch updates at any time through the link in an email. You can also ask us to access, correct, erase, restrict, or provide your personal data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw newsletter consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you may complain to the Czech Data Protection Authority.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the website, newsletter, or data-processing setup changes. The date at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
